Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and people-oriented Sales Executive who will drive business growth through two primary verticals:
Desk Sales (Telephonic Outreach)
Field Sales (Face-to-Face Meetings & Networking)
The role involves connecting with potential customers seeking event management services while also onboarding and negotiating with sub-vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Desk Sales (Telephonic Outreach)
Reach out to potential customers via calls, emails, and online platforms
Understand client requirements for events (weddings, corporate events, social functions, etc.)
Present Uttam Events’ service offerings and convert inquiries into qualified leads
Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales funnel
2. Field Sales (Face-to-Face & Networking)
Meet prospective clients in person to understand event requirements and build trust
Attend and network at events, exhibitions, and ceremonial programs to generate leads
Conduct on-site visits for event discussions and relationship building
Represent Uttam Events as a brand ambassador in external engagements
3. Vendor & Partner Outreach
Identify and onboard sub-vendors for services such as:
Decoration & event setup
Catering & food services
Transportation & logistics
Sound, lighting, and technical arrangements
Negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective partnerships
Maintain strong vendor relationships for smooth event execution
4. Sales & Coordination
Convert leads into confirmed business opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to align client expectations
Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track sales performance
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
0–1 years of experience in sales, event management, or client servicing
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle both telephonic and in-person client interactions confidently
Networking mindset with a proactive approach to lead generation
Willingness to travel and work on-field as required

Leads generated via desk and field activities
Conversion rate of inquiries to confirmed bookings
Vendor onboarding and cost optimization
Revenue generated per event
Client satisfaction and repeat business
