Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a customer-centric and hardworking Sales Associate to join our team at DMart. You will be the face of our store, ensuring that every customer has a seamless shopping experience. Your role will involve everything from assisting customers on the floor to maintaining stock levels and managing billing during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and help them locate products across various sections (Groceries, Apparel, Household items, etc.).

• Stock Management: Regularly restock shelves, ensure products are neatly arranged, and monitor "expiry dates" or damaged packaging.

• Billing & POS: Operate the cash counter efficiently during busy periods, processing cash, card, and UPI transactions accurately.

• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on current offers, discounts, and new arrivals to provide accurate information to shoppers.

• Visual Merchandising: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned aisles to ensure a premium shopping environment.

• Inventory Support: Assist the warehouse team during stock deliveries and conduct periodic inventory counts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: 12th Pass (Graduates are also welcome).

• Experience: Freshers are encouraged to apply; 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or customer service is a plus.

• Communication: Fluent in the local language; basic understanding of Hindi or English is preferred.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long durations (8–9 hour shifts) and lift/move stock crates when necessary.

• Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge for handling billing software (POS).
