Job Summary:
The Commercial Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales of buses and lorries, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role focuses on fleet customers, transport operators, and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the bus and lorry segment
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Handle end-to-end sales process (lead generation to delivery)
Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet owners, transporters, and corporate clients
Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and product demonstrations
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicle solutions
Coordinate with finance/insurance teams for loan and documentation support
Monitor competitor activities and market trends
Ensure timely collection of payments and documentation
Maintain accurate sales reports and CRM updates
Key Skills Required:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good knowledge of commercial vehicles (bus & lorry segment preferred)
Customer relationship management
Target-oriented and self-driven
Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM tools)
Field sales experience is a must
Qualifications:
Any Degree / Diploma (MBA preferred)
2–5 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales / automobile industry
Additional Requirements:
Valid driving license
Willingness to travel extensively
Local market knowledge is an advantage
