Job Description – Sales Consultant / Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and target-oriented Sales Consultant / Business Development Executive to generate new business, develop customer relationships, and promote solar solutions in the Kanpur market.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate leads through field visits, references, networking, and other channels.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.

• Meet prospective customers and understand their solar requirements.

• Explain solar solutions, benefits, pricing, and project offerings.

• Conduct customer meetings and site visits.

• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the technical team.

• Follow up with leads and convert prospects into customers.

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Maintain regular customer follow-ups and strong relationships.

• Maintain sales records and submit daily/weekly sales reports.

• Monitor local market and competitor activities.

• Coordinate with the project and operations teams for smooth execution.

Qualification & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/Sales & Marketing will be an advantage.

• Sales Consultant: 1–3 years of sales experience preferred.

• Business Development Executive: 1–3 years of experience in sales/business development preferred.

• Experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, Electrical, EPC, or Construction will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong customer-handling and presentation skills.

• Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.

• Good networking and lead-generation abilities.

• Willingness to travel within Kanpur and nearby areas.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM.
