Renewal Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a Renewal Executive – Term Insurance to manage policy renewal activities, engage with existing customers, and ensure timely renewal of term insurance policies. The role involves customer follow-ups, renewal calling, addressing policy-related queries, and driving customer retention and persistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers for term insurance policy renewals and timely premium payments.

• Conduct renewal calling and follow-ups with customers through calls and other communication channels.

• Explain renewal benefits, premium details, policy status, and available options to customers.

• Maintain regular follow-ups with customers having upcoming or overdue renewals.

• Handle customer queries related to policy renewal, premium payment, policy status, and continuity.

• Drive renewal conversion, customer retention, and persistency.

• Maintain accurate customer and renewal records in CRM/MIS.

• Coordinate with internal teams for resolving customer and policy-related issues.

• Track daily renewal targets, follow-ups, conversions, and pending cases.

• Build strong customer relationships to improve policy retention and renewal rates.

• Ensure timely reporting of renewal activities and performance to the reporting manager.
  

Skills & Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in insurance renewal, term insurance, Renewal Calling, Customer retention, or customer relationship management.

• Prior experience in Life Insurance / Term Insurance will be preferred.

• Good understanding of insurance policies, premiums, renewals, and customer retention.

• Strong communication and convincing skills.

• Good negotiation, follow-up, and objection-handling abilities.

• Target-oriented and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.

• Ability to handle customer calls professionally and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Basic knowledge of CRM, MS Excel, and MIS reporting will be an advantage.
