Vutto is a full-stack, phygital platform transforming the used two-wheeler market in India. We combine certified online listings with offline retail experience, in-house refurbishment, warranty support, and end-to-end documentation to deliver a seamless and trustworthy experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Purchase executive will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of 2-wheeler spare parts to ensure timely availability, cost efficiency, and quality standards. The role involves vendor management, inventory planning, and coordination with internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Identify and procure 2-wheeler spare parts (OEM & aftermarket).

• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor base.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery timelines).

• Build long-term relationships with vendors and distributors.

• Handle vendor audits and onboarding.

• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory.

• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams for demand forecasting.

• Raise purchase orders and track deliveries.

• Ensure timely receipt of materials as per requirements.

• Handle discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries.

• Analyze market trends and pricing.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• Maintain procurement budgets.

• Ensure spare parts meet required specifications and standards.

• Coordinate with QA teams for inspections.

• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases.

KEY REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive or 2-wheeler spare parts industry

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Willingness to travel extensively (up to 20+ days per month) for vendor visits and sourcing activities

• Good understanding of the 2-wheeler spare parts market, including OEM and aftermarket segments

• Ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Sound understanding of Google sheets etc.
