Job Brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Presales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for connecting with prospective customers, understanding their home-loan requirements, explaining suitable financial products, qualifying leads, and converting prospects into potential business opportunities.

The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact potential customers through calls to understand their home-loan requirements and financial needs.

• Explain home-loan products, interest rates, eligibility criteria, documentation, and other relevant services to prospective customers.

• Qualify leads based on customer requirements, eligibility, and purchase intent.

• Understand customer concerns and provide accurate information to build confidence and trust.

• Follow up with prospective customers through calls and messages to nurture leads and improve conversion.

• Generate interest and create qualified leads for the sales/field team.

• Coordinate with the field sales team and transfer qualified leads for further processing.

• Maintain accurate and updated customer information in the CRM/database.

• Keep detailed records of calls, follow-ups, customer requirements, and lead status.

• Handle customer queries, objections, and grievances professionally.

• Achieve assigned calling, lead-generation, follow-up, and conversion targets.

• Maintain a positive customer experience throughout the presales process.

• Stay updated on the company's loan products, partner banks, interest rates, and market offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.

• 6 months to 3 years of experience in Presales, Telesales, Telecalling, Inside Sales, Customer Service, or a similar role.

• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong convincing, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.

• Good understanding of customer needs with a consultative approach.

• Ability to explain financial products and services in a simple and effective manner.

• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

• Target-oriented with a strong focus on lead conversion.

• Ability to handle rejection professionally and remain motivated.

• Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.

• Basic knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office/Google Workspace will be an advantage.

• Prior experience in home loans, banking, NBFC, real estate, insurance, or financial services will be preferred.
