An Order Booking Executive is responsible for receiving, processing, and managing customer orders accurately and efficiently. The role involves coordination with sales, accounts, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Receive and record customer orders (online, phone, email, or in-person)
Verify order details such as quantity, price, delivery date, and payment terms
Enter orders into the system (ERP/Excel/software) accurately
Coordinate with the sales and warehouse/dispatch team for order processing
Follow up on pending orders and ensure timely delivery
Maintain proper records of all orders and transactions
Handle customer queries related to orders and provide updates
Prepare daily/weekly order reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
