Membership Sales Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, target-driven, and customer-focused Membership Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new memberships, engaging with prospective customers, conducting facility tours, understanding customer requirements, and converting leads into successful memberships.

The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to consistently achieve individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new membership sales through walk-ins, calls, leads, referrals, and other sales channels.

Handle inbound enquiries and follow up with prospective members regularly.

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable membership plans and packages.

Conduct professional tours of the facility and explain available services, facilities, and benefits.

Build strong relationships with prospective and existing members.

Convert leads into memberships while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales and revenue targets.

Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, sales activities, and conversions in the CRM/system.

Follow up with prospects who have shown interest but have not yet purchased a membership.

Participate in promotional campaigns, events, referral programs, and membership drives.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.

Handle customer questions and objections professionally and effectively.

Coordinate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure a smooth member onboarding experience.

Maintain a professional appearance and represent the brand positively at all times.

Stay updated on membership plans, pricing, promotions, and competitor offerings.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in sales, membership sales, retail sales, hospitality, fitness, or a related field.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.

Target-oriented with a strong sales mindset.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good follow-up and time-management skills.

Basic computer/CRM knowledge.

Positive attitude, confidence, and professional presentation.
