Logistics Freight Forwarder

We are looking for a Job Title to join our team at Union Trade Solutions (DTDC). The role focuses on expanding the client base, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The position offers 35000 & Convince and opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, meetings and lead generation.

• ·         Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

  ·         Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activities. Prepare database for potential clients.

  ·         Handle business enquiries generated through Justdial/web portal/social media or phone. 

  ·         Handle Email, SMS, WhatsApp and social media communication

  ·         Prepare and present proposal/quote to potential clients.  

  ·         Prepare and submit bid documents such as at GEMS portal

  ·         Present and demonstrate logistics services to potential clients.

  ·         Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.

  ·         Collaborate with management, suppliers, marketing and product teams to align sales strategies.

  ·         Attend client, corporate meetings, industry events and trade shows to promote services and gather market intelligence.

  ·         Prepare and maintain sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.

  ·         Provide feedback to management on customer needs and preferences.

   

  Candidate requirements:

   

  ·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  ·         2+ years of experience in Marketing, logistics sales or business development, preferably in the courier, cargo, e-commerce logistics, freight or transportation industry.

  ·         Strong understanding of logistics processes and SCM.

  ·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  ·         Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite.

  ·         Valid four-wheeler driver’s license (desirable)
