Export Sales Executive
Job Summary
The Export Sales Executive is responsible for generating international business and managing export sales operations for ceramic/vitrified tiles. The role involves identifying overseas buyers, handling international clients, developing new export markets, negotiating business deals, coordinating shipments, and achieving export sales targets.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of ceramic tiles products, export procedures, and international market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
International Sales & Business Development
Develop and expand export business for ceramic/vitrified tiles in international markets.
Identify new customers, distributors, dealers, and importers globally.
Generate inquiries through B2B portals, exhibitions, references, and digital platforms.
Build long-term relationships with overseas clients.
Client Handling & Sales Coordination
Handle inquiries, quotations, pricing, and negotiations with international customers.
Conduct regular follow-up with buyers for order conversion and repeat business.
Coordinate with customers regarding product specifications, designs, packing, and shipment schedules.
Maintain professional communication with overseas clients.
Market Development
Explore new markets in regions such as:
Middle East
Africa
USA
Europe
Latin America
Analyze market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
Share market feedback and customer requirements with management.
Export Order Management
Finalize export orders and coordinate execution with internal departments.
Coordinate with production, planning, dispatch, and logistics teams for timely delivery.
Ensure smooth shipment process and customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Payment Follow-up
Basic understanding of export documentation:
Proforma Invoice
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
BL
Certificate of Origin
LC documents
Follow up for payments and outstanding receivables.
Trade Fairs & International Visits
Participate in international exhibitions and trade shows.
Visit overseas markets and customers when required.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or International Business.
MBA (International Business/Marketing) preferred.
Experience
2–7 years experience in export sales of ceramic tiles/vitrified tiles.
Experience handling international B2B customers preferred.
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good knowledge of ceramic tiles products and export markets.
Understanding of export procedures and international trade terms.
Knowledge of INCOTERMS and payment methods.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and CRM software.
Ability to achieve sales targets independently.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in Morbi ceramic industry preferred.
Existing overseas buyer network is an advantage.
Strong follow-up and relationship management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹3 LPA – ₹8 LPA (Depending on experience and market exposure)
