Business Development Head Job Title: Business Development -Head Location: Mumbai / Delhi / Remote | Experience: 12 – 16 Years Who We Are at STL Digital , we don’t just build software; we engineer digital transformations. We partner with global enterprises with a comprehensive portfolio of services, including Product Engineering, Cloud and Cybersecurity, Data and AI, and Enterprise SaaS. STL are seeking a mission-driven Head of Business Development, Government & Microsoft Program Partnerships to lead India-wide institutional scale-up. This is a flagship senior leadership role at the intersection of government education systems, CSR partnerships, and global technology programs. Key Responsibilities 1.Government & Institutional BD ● Lead BD strategy across central & state government, CSR, and institutional segments ● Win large-scale engagements in NEP 2020, NIPUN Bharat, PM SHRI, EMRS & CM RISE ● Engage Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, District Collectors & SCERT Directors ● Structure proposals, EOIs, RFPs & concept notes aligned to government priorities ● Drive Rs. 50 Cr+ annual revenue targets; presence in 20+ states within 3 years 2. Microsoft Program Partnerships ● Own India's strategic partnership with Microsoft India — TEALS, AI for Schools, Imagine Academy, M365 for Education ● Drive Microsoft-funded school adoption across Tier 1, 2 & 3 cities ● Develop co-branded proposals: AI Lab + Robotex STEM Kit + Microsoft 365 ● Track Microsoft grant cycles & ensure preferred partner positioning 3. School Network Penetration ● Build outreach strategy for private CBSE, ICSE, IB & state-board schools ● Engage KVS, NVS, Navodaya, EMRS & tribal school clusters for public school rollouts ● Secure multi-school adoption agreements at Trustee/Principal/Academic Director level ● Design teacher champion & school ambassador programs for organic adoption 4. CSR, Philanthropy & Reporting ● Anchor partnerships with Tata Trusts, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance, HDFC Parivartan ● Develop grant proposals for UNICEF, UNESCO, World Bank, USAID, GIZ ● Build & manage CRM-driven BD pipeline with monthly reporting to CEO & Board ● Lead, mentor & grow a national team of BD managers & state relationship leads DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE Preferred Skills · Postgraduate in Public Policy, MBA, Development Studies, Social Sciences or equivalent ● 12–16 years in public sector advisory, EdTech partnerships or development program management ● Proven track record: govt contracts / TSU-PMU mandates of Rs. 50 Cr+ won and managed ● Prior experience with Microsoft, Google for Education, Intel or similar global tech-in education programs ● Large-scale school outreach across private and government school pipelines in multiple states ● Senior-level engagement with state depts — School Education, Tribal Affairs, Social Justice ● Led geographically distributed teams of 15+ professionals across multiple states ● Command over GEM procurement, tenders, MoU frameworks & administrative approvals ● Exposure to EY, KPMG, Piramal Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation, CSF, ASER or equivalent ● Hindi + English mandatory; regional languages (Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil) an advantage ● 30–40% travel readiness across India
