We are seeking a knowledgeable and student-focused International Education Counselor to guide students through the process of studying abroad. The role involves counseling students on course and university selection, application processes, and visa requirements while ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study abroad options (countries, universities, courses)

• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable programs and institutions

• Guide students through application processes, documentation, and deadlines

• Assist with visa applications, SOPs (Statement of Purpose), and interview preparation

• Provide accurate information on international education systems and requirements

• Coordinate with universities, partners, and internal teams

• Maintain student records and track application progress

• Conduct seminars, webinars, and outreach activities to attract prospective students

• Stay updated on immigration policies and education trends in key destinations

🎯 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred in Education, Counseling, or Business)

• 1–5+ years of experience in study abroad counseling or related field

• Strong knowledge of popular destinations like United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to understand student needs and provide tailored guidance

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

🛠️ Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with admission platforms and CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot

• Experience with visa documentation and interview preparation

• Multilingual abilities (optional but beneficial)

• Sales or target-driven experience (for consultancy roles)
