Job Title: Collection Officer

Role Overview

The Collection Officer is responsible for managing overdue loan accounts through outbound and inbound calls, ensuring timely recovery of payments while maintaining a professional and customer-friendly approach.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to customers for overdue EMI / loan payments

Handle inbound calls related to payment queries and delays

Follow up regularly with delinquent customers to ensure payment commitments

Negotiate repayment plans, due dates, and settlements as per policy

Update call logs, customer responses, and payment status in CRM systems

Achieve daily/weekly/monthly calling and collection targets

Handle early bucket and mid-bucket collections (soft collections)

Maintain compliance with RBI and company guidelines during collections

Key Skills Required

Strong communication skills (Hindi + basic English preferred)

Good negotiation and convincing ability

Basic computer knowledge (Excel / CRM tools)

Ability to handle pressure and meet targets

Good listening and problem-solving skills

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate / Undergraduate

0–2 years experience in tele-calling, collections, or customer service

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

Daily call productivity

Promise to Pay (PTP) conversion rate

Collection efficiency

Reduction in overdue accounts
