## Job Purpose

We are seeking an aggressive and result-oriented Sales Manager with a proven track record in Shipping, Freight Forwarding, and specialized cargo segments. The ideal candidate must possess deep commercial acumen in sourcing and securing Breakbulk, Heavy Lift, Bulk, and Project Cargo assignments.

## Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and secure high-value commercial accounts for sea/air freight forwarding, container services, and specialized breakbulk movements. [2]

Project Logistics Sourcing: Actively pitch and close freight deals for Project Cargo, Out-of-Gauge (OOG), and Heavy Lift shipments (such as transformers, cranes, and heavy machinery•). [2]

• Bulk Cargo Management: Develop and expand pipelines for dry/liquid bulk and bagged cargo movements. [1]

• Rate Negotiation & Proposal Preparation: Review technical requirements, estimate costs, and prepare comprehensive commercial proposals or RFQs for special equipment (flat racks, open tops, etc.). [2, 3]

• Relationship Management: Maintain strategic relationships with infrastructure companies, engineering firms, manufacturing conglomerates, and heavy industry exporters. [3, 4]

## Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of hardcore corporate sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping Lines, or Project Logistics.

• Specialized Knowledge: Direct, verifiable sales exposure to Breakbulk, Heavy Lift, Bulk Cargo, and industrial Project Cargo.

• Network: Strong, active network of industrial clients, exporters, and manufacturers across the target regional office territory.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial negotiation skills and the ability to interpret technical shipping definitions. [4, 5, 6]
