Role Overview
We are looking for experienced, confident female Career Counsellors who can guide prospective candidates, assess eligibility, and convert qualified leads into enrolments for GeekSpoc’s training and placement programs.
This role blends career counselling, consultative sales, candidate screening, and placement coordination, and is ideal for professionals who enjoy interacting with people, achieving targets, and building long-term career impact.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 1. Career Counselling & Enrolments (Primary Responsibility – 70%)
Call and engage inbound leads generated via website, chatbot, digital campaigns, and referrals
Explain GeekSpoc training programs clearly and professionally
Understand candidate background, goals, and suitability
Handle objections confidently and ethically
Achieve monthly enrolment targets
Maintain accurate lead and conversion records
🔹 2. Candidate Screening & Assessment (HR-Lite)
Conduct preliminary eligibility checks (education, aptitude, commitment)
Schedule and coordinate assessments / aptitude tests
Shortlist suitable candidates to maintain program quality
Ensure only eligible candidates are enrolled (quality over quantity)
🔹 3. Student Support (During & Post Training)
Act as a point of contact for enrolled trainees
Coordinate resume building, mock interviews, and interview scheduling
Support trainers and placement teams with trainee coordination
Address student concerns professionally and promptly
🔹 4. Placement & Hiring Partner Support (Growth Responsibility)
Coordinate interviews with hiring companies
Follow up with recruiters and hiring managers
Maintain hiring partner and placement records
Actively assist in identifying and onboarding companies hiring freshers and interns (with training provided)
Required Skills & Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in:
Career counselling, education sales, HR recruitment, admissions, or B2C sales
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Professional, confident phone presence
Ability to explain programs logically (not aggressively)
Comfortable working with targets and performance metrics
Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills
Good documentation and basic CRM handling
Language Requirements
English – Mandatory
Any additional languages (Kannada, Hindi, etc.) are a strong advantage
Education
Graduate in any discipline (preferred)
Candidates with HR, education, sales, or counselling background preferred
