ROLE SUMMARY
The Business Development Executive will be a core member of our enterprise growth team, responsible for expanding our ERP software footprint in the domestic and regional markets. The primary focus of this role is outbound client acquisition, turning cold corporate prospects into active business opportunities by pitching high-value automation solutions directly to decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, IT Directors).
A. Lead Generation & Pipeline Development (40%)
Identify and profile potential corporate clients across target sectors (Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, E commerce).
Execute high-volume outbound prospecting via structured cold calling, targeted email sequences, and professional social networking.
Secure qualified business meetings and product demonstration slots with key stakeholders.
B. Client Engagement & Solution Pitching (40%)
Conduct initial discovery calls to map out prospective client workflows and pain points.
Articulate the value proposition of our ERP solution effectively, tailoring the pitch to the specific industry framework of the client.
Coordinate with the technical pre-sales team to schedule and set up product demonstrations.
C. CRM & Pipeline Administration (20%)
Maintain meticulous records of all lead interactions, call logs, and deal stages in the company CRM ([Insert CRM Name, e.g., HubSpot/Zoho]).
Provide accurate weekly and monthly reports on pipeline status and lead conversion metrics to the Sales Head.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: Graduate Degree (BBA, B.Com, BSc IT, BCA, or B.Tech). An MBA in Sales/Marketing is a distinct advantage.
Experience Range: 0 – 3 Years of experience in corporate B2B sales. (Prior exposure to IT, Software, SaaS, or ERP sales is highly preferred, but freshers with exceptional communication are welcome). Technical & Tool Competencies:
Strong familiarity with modern sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or Apollo.io.
Basic understanding of corporate ERP architecture (modules like Inventory, Finance, CRM, HRMS).
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for compiling reports and client collateral. Soft Skills:
Flawless verbal and written business communication in English and Hindi.
High resilience, target-driven mindset, and capability to handle objections professionally.
