Business Development Executive – Freelancer & Upwork (Digital Marketing, Web Design & Development)
We are a fast-growing digital agency specializing in Website Design & Development and Digital Marketing across multiple niches. Our mission is to deliver impactful online solutions for businesses worldwide while building long-term partnerships through quality and trust.
We are expanding our sales team and looking for an experienced Business Development Executive who can generate consistent business from Freelancer and Upwork platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and bid on relevant projects on Freelancer.com, Upwork, and other freelancing portals.
Create compelling and customized proposals to win new projects in Web Design, Web Development, and Digital Marketing.
Communicate effectively with international clients (mainly from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, etc.).
Manage the entire sales cycle — from lead generation to project closure and handover to the technical team.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients for recurring business.
Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop project strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Track, analyze, and report proposal performance and conversion metrics.
Requirements
Proven experience (3+ years) in Freelancer, Upwork, or other bidding portals.
Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing, WordPress, Web Design, and Web Development services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to understand client requirements and propose customized solutions.
Confident, persuasive, and target-driven personality.
Familiar with CRM tools, project tracking, and lead management.
Must be able to work in night shifts (if targeting international clients
