Business Analyst – Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. 🔍 Elicit business needs through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.

2. 📄 Document clear and concise requirements in BRD, FRD, user stories, and use cases.

3. 🧩 Translate business objectives into functional solutions in collaboration with tech teams.

4. 🧠 Analyze current processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.

5. 📊 Interpret and analyze data trends using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau for decision-making.

6. 🧭 Facilitate cross-functional communication between business users, developers, and QA teams.

7. 🔄 Manage requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure scope alignment.

8. ✅ Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by validating that solutions meet business expectations.

9. 🛠️ Recommend strategic and system improvements based on business insights and analysis.

10. 🤝 Build strong stakeholder relationships to maintain alignment and support change management.

11. 📆 Contribute to project planning and agile ceremonies, including sprint grooming and retrospectives.

12. 📝 Prepare user manuals, training guides, and SOPs to support smooth solution adoption.
