Job Description – Career Counsellor / Admission Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counselling & Admissions

• Counsel prospective students regarding courses, career opportunities, and industry scope.

• Understand student requirements and guide them to the most suitable course.

• Convert walk-ins and inquiries into admissions.

2. Lead Handling

• Handle walk-ins, incoming inquiries, and leads generated through marketing activities.

• Conduct follow-ups with interested candidates via calls, WhatsApp, and emails.

• Maintain a strong follow-up process to improve conversions.

3. Course Presentation & Demo Coordination

• Explain course details including curriculum, duration, fees, and career opportunities.

• Arrange and coordinate demo sessions with faculty for prospective students.

• Conduct centre tours for walk-in students and parents.

4. Admission Process & Documentation

• Complete admission formalities including documentation and fee collection.

• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of student records in Excel.

• Coordinate with the operations team for batch allocation and onboarding.

5. Target Achievement & Reporting

• Work towards monthly admission targets.

• Maintain daily inquiry, follow-up, and admission reports.

• Update management regarding lead status and conversion updates.

Skills Required

• Excellent communication and convincing skills

• Sales orientation and ability to convert inquiries into admissions

• Good interpersonal and counselling skills

• Basic computer knowledge MS Excel, Google Sheets

Language Preferred: English, Hindi, Marathi

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline

• 1– 5 years of experience in counselling, admissions, or sales

• Experience in education institutes / training centres will be preferred

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9 Hours
