About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, result-oriented, and highly motivated Area Sales Manager (ASM) with a strong background in the Edible Oil & FMCG industry. The ideal candidate must have excellent market knowledge, a proven sales track record, and strong relationships with distributors, super stockists, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly and annual business targets.
Appoint, develop, and manage Super Stockists, Distributors, and Channel Partners.
Expand market coverage by identifying new business opportunities and increasing product availability.
Lead, train, and motivate the Sales Officer/Sales Executive team to achieve performance goals.
Develop and execute sales strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.
Monitor distributor investments, stock levels, secondary sales, and outstanding payments.
Ensure product visibility, merchandising, and execution of promotional activities in the market.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and present business reviews to management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy business relationships with channel partners.
Travel extensively within the assigned territory to monitor market performance and team productivity.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Edible Oil/FMCG Sales.
Must have strong knowledge of Rice Bran Oil, Refined Oils, Blended Oils, Sunflower Oil, Mustard Oil, Palm Oil, and the FMCG distribution business.
Proven experience in handling General Trade (GT) channels.
Strong network with Super Stockists, Distributors, Wholesalers, and Retailers.
Experience in distributor appointment, market expansion, sales planning, and team management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze sales data and prepare MIS reports.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively.

Compensation & Benefits
Annual CTC: ₹3 – ₹5 Lakhs (Negotiable for the right candidate)
