About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and self-motivated Area Sales Manager to lead our pharmaceutical sales operations from the Lucknow Headquarters. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent market knowledge, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets while managing a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

• Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate Medical Representatives to maximize productivity.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and key opinion leaders.

• Conduct regular field visits and joint work with Medical Representatives.

• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback.

• Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and product launches.

• Prepare sales reports, market analysis, and territory performance reviews.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical marketing practices, and industry regulations.

• Coordinate with the marketing and management teams to drive business growth.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, or any graduate discipline (B.Pharm/B.Sc. preferred).

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 1 year in a team-handling role.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership and people management abilities.

• Good analytical, planning, and reporting skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
