🎯 Role Summary

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding students and parents through the course selection and admission process for competitive exam coaching programs like NEET, JEE, Foundation & Olympiads.
This is a student counselling + sales-oriented role focused on achieving admission targets.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students & parents about Aakash courses and programs

• Understand student academic background and recommend suitable courses

• Handle walk-ins, telephonic & online enquiries

• Explain fee structure, scholarship tests (like iACST), and payment plans

• Follow up with prospective leads and convert them into admissions

• Maintain enquiry database and admission records

• Achieve monthly / quarterly admission targets

• Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth onboarding

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate / Postgraduate (Any discipline)

• 1–5 years experience in education counselling / sales / EdTech preferred

• Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply

💼 Required Skills

• Excellent communication (English + regional language preferred)

• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills

• Target-driven & result-oriented mindset

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)

• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills

💰 Salary (Approximate)

• ₹2.5 LPA – ₹5 LPA (varies by location & experience)

• Incentives based on admission targets

🕒 Working Hours

• 6 days a week (weekends usually working)

• Rotational weekly off
