Job Summary

STARS Academy is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and result-oriented Education Counsellor to guide prospective students and parents regarding our educational programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, counselling, and sales skills to convert enquiries into admissions while maintaining strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and academic programs.

2. Handle walk-in enquiries, telephone calls, WhatsApp enquiries, emails, and online leads professionally.

3. Explain course features, fee structure, admission process, and scholarship opportunities.

4. Convert enquiries into admissions by providing accurate guidance and building trust.

5. Conduct follow-up calls with prospective students to maximize admissions.

6. Maintain admission records, enquiry database, and student documentation.

7. Coordinate with the academic and administrative teams for smooth admission procedures.

8. Organize seminars, career guidance sessions, educational events, and promotional activities.

9. Meet monthly admission and revenue targets.

10. Address student concerns and provide continuous support throughout the admission process.

11. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly counselling and admission reports.

12. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or Undergraduate

•1–3 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, sales, or customer relationship management.

• Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

Skills Required

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

• Strong interpersonal and counselling skills.

• Convincing and negotiation abilities.

• Sales and target-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in coaching institutes, schools, colleges, EdTech companies, overseas education, or training institutes will be preferred.
