Role Overview
We are looking for a result-driven and enthusiastic Academic Counsellor to guide students through the enrollment process and help them choose the right courses. This is a sales-focused role that involves interacting with prospective students, understanding their needs, and converting leads into admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Sales
Counsel students and working professionals via calls, WhatsApp, and virtual meetings
Understand student goals and recommend suitable courses/programs
Convert inquiries into successful admissions
Lead Management
Handle inbound and outbound leads generated through marketing campaigns
Follow up consistently with prospects to close enrollments
Maintain strong pipeline and conversion ratios
CRM & Reporting
Update and manage student data in CRM systems
Track daily calls, follow-ups, and conversion status
Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets
Coordination
Work closely with academic and support teams for smooth onboarding
Ensure a seamless admission experience for students
Required Skills
Excellent communication skills in English & Tamil (Mandatory)
Strong convincing, negotiation, and sales skills
Ability to handle objections and close deals
Target-driven mindset with a positive attitude
Basic knowledge of education industry (preferred)
Qualification
Any Graduate / Post Graduate
