Job Title: Academic Counselor

Location: Thrissur, Kerala
Experience: 1–3 Years (Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective students through course selection, admissions, and enrollment processes. The role involves counseling students, understanding their career goals, and recommending suitable training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents about courses, career paths, and training programs

• Handle walk-ins, inquiries, and leads generated through calls, emails, and digital platforms

• Explain course details, fees, duration, and placement support clearly

• Convert inquiries into enrollments and achieve admission targets

• Maintain accurate records of student interactions in CRM/ERP systems

• Follow up with prospective students to ensure timely admissions

• Coordinate with trainers and academic teams for batch schedules

• Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong convincing and negotiation abilities

• Ability to understand student needs and provide career guidance

• Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office

• Goal-oriented and result-driven mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any Graduate / Postgraduate

• Experience in educational counseling or sales is an added advantage
