Job Title: Academy Counsellor

Location: Bangalore

Department: Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: 9 Hours per Day (1hr Lunch break)

Weekly Off: Rotational Off

Salary Range: ₹3 LPA – ₹3.6 LPA

Job Summary

The Academy Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students, explaining courses and career opportunities, handling admissions, and maintaining strong relationships with students throughout the enrolment process.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and parents regarding academy courses, training programs, and career opportunities.

Handle inquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, emails, WhatsApp

Explain course details, fee structures, training schedules, and placement assistance.

Convert inquiries into admissions by effectively counselling and following up with prospects.

Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, admissions, and follow-ups in CRM or Excel.

Coordinate with trainers and administrative staff regarding student onboarding and batch scheduling.

Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates to achieve admission targets.

Required Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages.

Strong counselling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.

Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to achieve admission and enrolment targets.

Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Qualifications:

Experience in educational counselling, admissions, sales, or customer relationship management is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Training Institutes, Educational Academies, Colleges, Skill Development Centers.

Knowledge of student counselling and admission processes.
