Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Operations
• Assist in material inward and outward entries with proper documentation.
• Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Purchase Invoices (PI), and delivery challans.
• Maintain accurate stock records through registers, Excel sheets, or inventory software.
• Issue materials, spare parts, paints, and consumables to technicians as per approved requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or excess consumption.
• Support stock reconciliation and inventory control activities.
Purchase & Documentation Support
• Assist in preparing and tracking Purchase Orders (POs).
• Maintain records of Purchase Invoices (PI), GRNs, delivery challans, and vendor bills.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding deliveries, pending orders, and material availability.
• Support the Storekeeper and management in purchase monitoring and cost control activities.
Stock Control & Housekeeping
• Assist in periodic physical stock verification and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and handling of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the store area.
• Follow company policies related to inventory control and material management.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 12th Pass, Diploma, or Graduate in any discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Store Operations, Inventory Management, Spare Parts Handling, or Material Management.
• Experience in automotive workshops, bodyshops, service centers, spare parts stores, or manufacturing stores will be preferred.
• Basic understanding of:
· Purchase Orders (PO) & Purchase Invoices (PI)
· Material Inward & Outward Processes
· Inventory Records & Stock Reconciliation
· Vendor Coordination
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software is mandatory.
