Job Description – Storekeeper

Position: Storekeeper
Industry: Restaurant / Hospitality
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹24,000 per month
Location: Greater Noida West

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the daily operations of the store, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory. The ideal candidate should ensure accurate stock records, maintain proper storage conditions, and coordinate effectively with kitchen, service, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and invoices.

• Store materials properly to maintain quality and prevent damage or wastage.

• Issue stock to departments as per approved requisitions.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock registers.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock verification.

• Monitor stock levels and inform management of low-stock items.

• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices for perishable items.

• Check expiry dates and ensure timely stock rotation.

• Coordinate with vendors and the procurement team for deliveries.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.

• Prepare inventory reports and assist during internal and external audits.

• Minimize stock discrepancies, losses, and wastage.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety standards.

Required Skills

• Inventory and stock management

• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO and stock rotation

• Goods receiving and dispatch management

• Record keeping and documentation

• Basic Microsoft Excel and MS Office knowledge

• Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems (preferred)

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Good communication and coordination abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic mathematical and analytical skills

• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy

• Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• Minimum 12th Pass or Graduate (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in the restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry.

• Experience in handling food and beverage inventory will be an added advantage.
