Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Handling

• Greet customers and understand their needs and preferences.

• Assist customers in selecting sarees based on occasion, fabric, design, and budget.

• Demonstrate draping styles when required.

• Provide styling suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction.

2. Sales & Targets

• Promote sarees and related products (blouses, accessories).

• Upsell and cross-sell items to increase bill value.

• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.

3. Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong knowledge of different saree types:
  (Silk, Kanjivaram, Banarasi, Cotton, Chiffon, Georgette, Designer Sarees, etc.)

• Understand fabrics, weaving techniques, embroidery work, and current trends.

4. Store Operations

• Arrange and organize sarees on shelves/racks aesthetically.

• Ensure the store is clean and presentable.

• Handle billing and POS systems (if required).

• Manage stock, check inventory, and assist in stock-taking.

5. Customer Service

• Handle customer queries and complaints politely.

• Provide after-sales service and follow-up for special orders.

• Ensure a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Any.

• Experience: 1–2 years in apparel or saree sales.

• Skills Required:

  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic fashion knowledge

  • Persuasive selling ability

  • Customer-friendly attitude

  • Basic computer/POS handling

  • Good presentation and grooming
