Job Description – Puma Promoter (Footwear & Apparel)

Location: Shoppers Stop / Lifestyle Stores

Department: Retail – Brand Promotion

About the Role

We are looking for energetic, customer focused Puma Promoters to represent and drive sales for Puma Footwear and Apparel at Shoppers Stop & Lifestyle stores. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sportswear, have excellent communication skills, and be able to deliver a superior customer experience while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Engagement

• Actively approach and engage customers to promote Puma products.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable footwear & apparel.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sell-out targets.

• Drive add-on sales (e.g., socks, Caps, Apparel with footwear).

2. Product Knowledge

• Maintain strong knowledge of product features, technologies, and benefits.

• Communicate the value and USP of Puma products confidently.

• Stay updated on new launches, promotions, and brand campaigns.

3. Visual Merchandising & Display

• Ensure the Puma section is well-organized, clean, and visually attractive.

• Follow brand VM guidelines for display, stacking, and signage.

• Coordinate with store VM team for periodic refresh.

4. Inventory & Replenishment

• Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment requirements.

• Report fast-moving and slow-moving styles to your supervisor.

• Ensure accurate handling of sizes, styles, and SKUs.

5. Store Coordination

• Work closely with Store Staff and store management.

• Ensure smooth operations, billing coordination, and POS support.

• Participate in stock audits, training sessions, and brand activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: 10th / 12th Pass / Graduate

• Experience: 6 months – 3 years in Retail / Footwear / Apparel (Freshers can also apply)

• Skills:

o Good communication & customer service

o Basic product selling skills

o Positive attitude and ability to handle customers

o Energetic, confident, and target-driven

Additional Requirements

• Should be comfortable working in retail store timings.

• Should maintain grooming standards as per Puma guidelines.

• Should be reliable, punctual, and willing to work on weekends/festive seasons.
