• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment.

• Handle equipment such as walk-in chillers, deep freezers, under-counter refrigerators, display chillers, and cold storage units.

• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related faults.

• Check and maintain compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, sensors, motors, and refrigerant systems.

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.

• Monitor temperature performance and ensure equipment operates within required food-safety standards.

• Identify refrigerant leakage and carry out necessary repairs and gas charging.

• Attend emergency breakdown calls and minimize equipment downtime.

• Maintain proper records of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Ensure safe handling of electrical systems, refrigerants, tools, and equipment.

• Coordinate with store teams and vendors for major repairs and replacement of parts.

• Follow company safety, hygiene, and food-safety procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent.

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration maintenance.

• Good knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical controls, compressors, and temperature-control systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns independently.

• Knowledge of basic electrical wiring and control panels.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Willingness to travel between stores/outlets as required.
