Job Summary
The Placement Executive is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with recruiters, coordinating campus placement drives, and preparing students for job opportunities. The role bridges the gap between the institute and industry, ensuring maximum placement of eligible students.
Key Responsibilities
Industry & Corporate Relations
Identify, approach, and onboard new companies for campus recruitment
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing recruiting partners
Negotiate job profiles, packages, and hiring timelines with companies
Organize corporate visits, guest lectures, and industry interaction sessions
Placement Drive Coordination
Plan and execute end-to-end campus placement drives (pre-placement talks, tests, interviews)
Coordinate scheduling between companies and students/faculty
Manage logistics — venues, equipment, documentation for recruitment events
Track and maintain placement data, offer letters, and student records
Student Preparation & Support
Conduct or arrange training sessions on resume building, aptitude tests, group discussions, and interview skills
Counsel students on career options and suitable job roles
Maintain updated student database with academic records, skills, and preferences
Organize mock interviews and skill-development workshops
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare placement statistics and reports for management/accreditation purposes
Maintain MoUs, agreements, and correspondence with recruiting companies
Update placement brochure and institute website with placement data
Ensure compliance with institute policies and industry standards
Alumni & Networking
Build alumni network for referrals and mentorship opportunities
Leverage alumni working in companies for lead generation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree (MBA preferred, especially in HR or Marketing)
Experience: 2–5 years in placements, corporate relations, HR, or recruitment (freshers with strong communication skills may be considered for junior roles)
Skills:
