Key Responsibilities
Process monthly/weekly payroll for employees accurately and within deadlines
Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, incentives, and deductions
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, etc.)
Prepare and submit payroll-related statutory returns and challans
Maintain employee payroll data, attendance, and leave records
Handle payroll adjustments, arrears, reimbursements, and full & final settlements
Generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes
Respond to employee queries related to salary, deductions, and payslips
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and auditors for payroll and compliance matters
Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labor laws
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, HR, or related field
Certification in payroll management (preferred)
