About the Role

GVI Italy is looking for a hands-on HR Recruiter who can independently source, screen and coordinate suitable candidates for sales and business-support positions.

We are looking for someone with practical recruitment experience in product-based businesses, particularly in field sales, channel sales and inside-sales hiring. The role requires strong follow-up, planning, communication and ownership of recruitment targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand each job description, mandatory criteria, salary range, location and candidate profile before starting recruitment.

• Source candidates through job portals, existing databases, referrals, social media, consultants and other relevant channels.

• Recruit for field sales, channel sales, office/inside sales, Executive Assistant and other business-support positions.

• Prioritise candidates from hardware, furniture, modular kitchen, plywood, architectural hardware, building materials, interior products and related industries.

• Conduct screening calls to evaluate experience, relevant sales background, communication, salary expectations, job stability and joining availability.

• Identify unsuitable candidates early and forward only relevant profiles for interviews.

• Share shortlisted CVs with a clear screening summary explaining why each candidate is suitable.

• Coordinate interviews, confirm candidate attendance and minimise interview no-shows.

• Follow up after interviews, communicate feedback and manage the recruitment process until joining.

• Maintain an updated recruitment tracker covering candidate details, source, screening status, interview feedback, salary, notice period and next action.

• Build a ready pipeline of candidates for recurring hiring requirements.

• Verify employment history and references wherever required.

• Support joining documentation and onboarding coordination.

• Prepare daily and weekly recruitment reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in recruitment and candidate sourcing.

• Proven experience hiring field sales, channel sales and inside-sales candidates.

• Experience in product-based companies or related physical-product industries is strongly preferred.

• Experience limited to IT or service-sector recruitment alone will not be sufficient.

• Good communication, judgement, follow-up discipline and organisational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and work with clear targets and deadlines.

• Ability to explain screening decisions and recommend suitable candidates independently.

• Responsible, proactive and ownership-driven approach.

Important Screening Expectations

For sales candidates, the recruiter must evaluate actual selling experience rather than relying only on the designation mentioned in the CV.

The recruiter should understand:

• What products the candidate has sold and to whom.

• Whether the experience is in B2B, B2C, dealer sales, direct sales or field sales.

• Monthly or annual sales targets and actual achievements.

• Experience in new-customer acquisition, dealer development, lead conversion and collections.

• Territory handled, reason for leaving and willingness to undertake regular field visits.

• For OEM sales, experience with manufacturers, preferably in furniture, hardware, modular furniture or related industries.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role means:

• Providing fewer but better-matched candidates.

• Building a consistent pipeline for all open positions.

• Filling interview calendars with relevant candidates.

• Maintaining timely follow-ups and accurate recruitment records.

• Taking ownership of closing vacancies instead of merely posting jobs or forwarding CVs.

• Changing sourcing methods proactively when one channel does not produce suitable candidates.

The ideal candidate is a practical, independent HR Recruiter who can manage recruitment from sourcing to joining with minimal supervision.
