Job Summary
The HR Recruiter is responsible for end-to-end recruitment of factory manpower including blue-collar, white-collar. The role involves sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with statutory and factory labor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory roles such as:
Operators, Helpers, Technicians, Supervisors
Engineers, Quality, Maintenance, Production staff
Coordinate with plant heads and department managers for manpower requirements.
Prepare job descriptions as per factory and operational needs.
Plan recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, and local hiring campaigns.
Sourcing & Screening
Source candidates through:
Local consultancies and manpower vendors
Job portals (Naukri, Indeed, etc.)
Employee referrals
ITIs, polytechnics, and local institutes
Screen candidates based on skill, experience, shift readiness, and factory norms.
Conduct preliminary interviews and coordinate technical/plant interviews.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Coordinate with manpower agencies and contractors for contract staffing.
Ensure contractor compliance with statutory norms and manpower availability.
Maintain vendor performance and recruitment turnaround timelines.
Onboarding & Documentation
Ensure timely joining and onboarding of selected candidates.
Collect and verify employee documents:
Aadhaar, PAN, Bank details
Educational certificates
Police verification (if applicable)
Coordinate medical fitness and induction programs.
MIS & Reporting
Maintain recruitment trackers, manpower status, and vacancy reports.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly recruitment MIS.
Track attrition, joining ratios, and recruitment effectiveness.
Required Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of factory manpower recruitment
Understanding of labor laws related to manufacturing units
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to handle bulk hiring and urgent manpower requirements
Proficiency in MS Excel and HR MIS
Local language knowledge preferred
