The HR Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the organization’s staffing needs. The role involves end-to-end recruitment, coordination with hiring managers, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Understand hiring requirements from department heads and managers
Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and internal databases
Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates
Conduct initial HR interviews and coordinate technical/managerial interviews
Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates and interview panels
Manage offer rollouts, salary discussions, and negotiation
Coordinate pre-employment checks and documentation
Maintain and update candidate records and recruitment trackers
Ensure timely closure of open positions
Handle onboarding formalities for new joiners
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline
Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and labor laws
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques
Ability to assess candidate suitability effectively
Time management and multitasking skills
Familiarity with job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
Basic knowledge of HR policies and employment laws
Proficiency in MS Office / HR software
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
MBA / PGDM in HR is preferred
