Hope Ek ASHA, a Delhi-based NGO is looking for an experienced, professional and fluent English-speaking HR Manager to manage end-to-end human resource functions. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee management, compliance and HR operations while supporting the organization’s mission and growth.
Job Purpose
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for planning, recruiting, managing and developing human resources required for the successful operation of an Alzheimer’s Day Care and Residential Care facility at Gurugram and existing facility at New Delhi.
The role ensures compassionate, skilled and compliant staffing aligned with healthcare and social-sector standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
Plan manpower requirements for day care and residential care services.
Recruit healthcare professionals, caregivers, nurses, therapists, support staff and administrative personnel.
Coordinate onboarding, background verification and orientation programs.
2. HR Operations & Compliance
Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, KRA and KPIs and employee handbooks.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave and payroll coordination.
3. Training & Capacity Building
Organize training programs on dementia care, patient safety, ethics and soft skills.
Coordinate with external trainers and medical professionals for specialized training.
Promote continuous learning and staff development.
4. Performance Management
Implement performance appraisal systems.
Address staff grievances and promote a positive work environment.
Support leadership in workforce planning and succession management.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
Foster a compassionate, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
Promote staff well-being, retention and motivation.
Handle conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
6. Project Support
Support project launch timelines through timely recruitment.
Coordinate with project managers and medical teams for staffing needs.
Assist in audits and compliance reviews related to HR.
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Social Work, MSW, or related field.
3 years of HR experience, preferably in NGOs, or senior care facilities.
Knowledge of labour laws and healthcare HR practices.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Good knowledge of HR processes and labor compliance.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & Email).
Well-organized, professional and leadership-oriented.
Local candidates from New Delhi Gurugram or areas preferred.
Salary
Rs. 35,000 (Negotiable) — as per experience and interview performance.
