HR Intern – Job Description

An HR Intern supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational tasks while gaining practical experience in HR functions. The role involves assisting with recruitment, employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, coordinating training programs, and supporting HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for candidates.

• Support the onboarding and orientation process for new employees.

• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.

• Help prepare HR documents, including offer letters and employment contracts.

• Coordinate employee engagement activities and training sessions.

• Assist in payroll, attendance, and leave management processes.

• Ensure confidentiality of employee information and HR records.

• Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good organizational and time management abilities.

• Basic knowledge of HR principles and labor laws.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in Human Resources.
