Labor Recruitment Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a driven and street-smart Junior Labor Recruitment Executive to join our HR team. This is a field-oriented role responsible for ensuring our production lines are always staffed with skilled and semi-skilled blue-collar workers. You will be the backbone of our workforce planning — building a ready bench of workers, managing employee relationships, and making sure absenteeism never disrupts production.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a pre-screened bench of 50–100 workers (helpers, machine operators, welders, etc.) ready to join on short notice.
• Source candidates through local networks, ITI institutes, placement agencies, labour mandis, and employee referrals.
• Arrange replacement workers within 24 hours whenever there is unplanned absenteeism or sudden demand.
• Onboard new workers — verify documents (Aadhaar, PF, ESIC), collect joining forms, and coordinate with admin.
• Maintain an updated worker database with skill type, availability, contact details, and past employment.
• Run a worker referral bonus program — coordinate with payroll to disburse referral incentives.
• Coordinate with the production team to forecast upcoming labour requirements (seasonal surges, new projects).
• Prepare weekly reports on hiring status, bench strength, absenteeism rate, and open positions.
Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate in any discipline (BBA, BA, BSc, or equivalent).
• 0–5 years of experience in blue-collar or industrial recruitment, staffing, or labour contracting.
• Freshers with a strong local network and good communication skills may also apply.
• Familiarity with local labour market — knows where to source workers quickly.
• Basic knowledge of labour laws: Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, PF & ESIC compliance.
• Must be having his own two wheeler for field visits.
