Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records including new joiners, resignations, and changes in salary structure.

• Calculate and process deductions such as taxes, PF, ESI, professional tax, loans, and other adjustments.

• Ensure compliance with statutory laws and timely submission of statutory payments (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).

• Generate salary slips, tax reports, and payroll summaries.

• Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and tax computation.

• Coordinate with HR for attendance, leave data, and incentive details.

• Liaise with the Finance department and banks for salary transfers.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management.

• Support internal and external audits with necessary payroll documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.

• 2–5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.

• Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, Tally, GreytHR, etc.).

• Good understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
