Recruitment Team Leader – Delivery
The Recruitment Team Leader will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end hiring of delivery executives/riders for logistics operations. This role involves leading a team of recruiters, ensuring target-based hiring, maintaining quality onboarding, and supporting business expansion through manpower availability.
1. Team Management
Lead, train, and monitor a team of delivery boys.
Assign daily shipments and track performance
Motivate the team.
2. Bulk Hiring Execution
Handle high-volume hiring of delivery partners (riders/boys)
Plan and execute sourcing strategies (field hiring, job portals, referrals)
Ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates across hubs/locations.
3. Target & KPI Management
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly hiring targets.
Retention of hired candidates
4. Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with operations and hub managers
Understand manpower requirements and urgency
Provide regular hiring updates and reports
5. Candidate Experience & Onboarding
Ensure smooth interview and onboarding end-to-end process
Maintain proper documentation and compliance
6. Field Recruitment Activities
Plan and execute field drives, job camps, and walk-ins
Build local vendor/consultant networks if required
7. Data & Reporting
Maintain recruitment MIS and dashboards
Analyze hiring trends and improve strategies
Share daily/weekly reports with management
Skills Required
Strong leadership and team handling skills
Experience in bulk/blue-collar hiring
Good communication and negotiation skills
Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
Knowledge of local hiring markets and sourcing channels
Basic Excel and reporting skills
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 10+2
2–5 years of experience in bulk hiring/logistics recruitment
Minimum 1–2 years in a team handling role preferred
Preferred Background
Experience in logistics companies, food delivery platforms, or gig workforce hiring
Familiarity with rider onboarding processes and documentation.
