Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counselor with at least 5 years of experience in educational admissions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counseling prospective students, managing the complete admission cycle, achieving enrollment targets, and maintaining excellent relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, eligibility, and admission procedures.
Handle inquiries through phone calls, emails, WhatsApp, walk-ins, and online platforms.
Guide students through the complete admission process, from inquiry to enrollment.
Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Conduct follow-ups with leads using CRM and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with academic, finance, and operations teams for smooth admissions.
Organize and participate in seminars, webinars, educational fairs, and campus events.
Train and mentor junior admission counselors.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly admission reports.
Resolve student and parent queries professionally.
Maintain high standards of customer service and student satisfaction.
Build partnerships with schools, colleges, consultants, and other referral sources.
Stay updated on educational programs, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, student counseling, or education sales.
Experience in universities, colleges, training institutes, EdTech companies, or coaching institutes is preferred.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong counseling and negotiation abilities.
Proven track record of achieving admission or sales targets.
CRM and lead management experience.
Good presentation and public speaking skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of admission software/ERP is an advantage.
