About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, well-groomed, and customer-focused Resort Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally.
Provide information about resort facilities, services, local attractions, and events.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Security departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain accurate guest records and process payments.
Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Prepare daily arrival, departure, occupancy, and revenue reports.
Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
Follow resort policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
Promote resort facilities and assist in upselling rooms and additional services.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
1–3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality front office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and hotel property management software.
Professional appearance and pleasant personality.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
