Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Plumber to handle plumbing maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting at the client site. The candidate should have experience in handling factory or commercial wastewater systems, pipe fitting, pump maintenance, and basic valve repairs

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of plumbing systems.

2. Install, repair, and replace water supply pipes, drainage pipes, valves, taps, and fittings.

3. Attend plumbing complaints and breakdowns promptly.

4. Identify and repair water leakage, blockage, and drainage-related issues.

5. Maintain washroom, kitchen, pantry, and other plumbing fixtures.

6. Repair and maintain sanitary fittings such as taps, flush valves, wash basins, urinals, and WC fittings.

7. Carry out preventive maintenance as per the prescribed schedule.

8. Check water pressure, leakage, and proper functioning of plumbing equipment.

9. Maintain proper tools and equipment required for plumbing work.

10. Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while working.

11. Maintain daily work records and report major faults to the supervisor.

12. Coordinate with the Facility/Technical Supervisor for maintenance requirements.

13. Ensure cleanliness of the work area after completing repair or maintenance work.

14. Perform any other plumbing-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Educational Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or relevant technical qualification preferred.

• Candidates with relevant practical experience may also be considered.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance preferred.

• Experience in handling factory or commercial wastewater systems, pipe fitting, pump maintenance, and basic valve repairs.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of plumbing systems and fittings.

• Ability to identify and resolve plumbing problems.

• Knowledge of pipe fitting, drainage systems, valves, taps, and sanitary fixtures.

• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good discipline, punctuality, and workplace behaviour.

• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
