Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems used for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. The ideal candidate can read blueprints, work safely with tools and materials, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools

• Install piping systems according to project requirements and safety standards

• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks, pressure, and functionality

• Repair, replace, or maintain damaged or malfunctioning pipes

• Use welding, brazing, or soldering techniques when required

• Secure pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures using clamps, brackets, or hangers

• Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean worksite

• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on site
  

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role

• Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and tools

• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

• Experience with welding, cutting, and threading pipes

• Physical stamina and ability to work in confined or elevated spaces

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Relevant certification or trade license preferred
  

Working Conditions:

• Work may be indoors or outdoors

• Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and heavy equipment

• May require overtime, night shifts, or weekend work
