Direct Patient CareCheck and record vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, temperature).Administer oral medications, injections, and intravenous (IV) fluids.Perform wound care, dressing changes, and patient hygiene support.Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.Monitoring and DocumentationObserve patient conditions and report sudden changes or emergencies.Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and care notes.Collect laboratory specimens like blood and urine samples.Track and record responses to ongoing treatments.Communication and SupportUpdate and educate patients and families on home care and health maintenance.Provide emotional reassurance to patients and anxious relatives.Coordinate daily care tasks with multidisciplinary medical teams.Ward and Unit DutiesParticipate in shift handovers to ensure seamless care continuity.Keep the ward environment, equipment, and supplies clean and organized.Guide and supervise nursing students or junior assistants.
