Fleet Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to manage and maintain the fleet of vehicles deployed for the MCD Project, including Refuse Compactors, Tipper Trucks, Sweeping Machines, and other heavy/light commercial vehicles. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% fleet availability, minimizing breakdowns, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory norms. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹18,000 - ₹30,000 and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance, preventive maintenance and breakdown repair of all MCD project vehicles.

  Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.

  Manage workshop operations, spare parts inventory, and team of technicians/mechanics.

  Maintain fleet records, logbooks, fuel consumption, service history, insurance, PUC, fitness and permits.

  Coordinate with Operations team to ensure timely deployment of vehicles as per MCD requirement.

  Ensure compliance with MCD safety, EHS, and pollution control guidelines.

  Control maintenance cost and vendor management for outsourced repairs and spare parts.

  Conduct root cause analysis for major breakdowns and prepare reports for management.

  Lead, train and manage workshop staff and drivers on basic maintenance practices.

  Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma or degree and 2 - 6+ years of experience. The position requires excellent knowledge of automobile industry and spare parts.
