Key Responsibilities
Perform periodic maintenance and general servicing of passenger vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in cars.
Repair engines, suspension, brake systems, clutch, AC, and electrical components.
Conduct vehicle inspection and identify additional repair requirements.
Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment effectively.
Ensure quality service and timely delivery of vehicles.
Maintain job cards and service records properly.
Follow safety standards and workshop discipline.
Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and customer concerns.
Required Skills
Knowledge of automobile mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose faults in multi-brand vehicles.
Basic understanding of diagnostic scanners and tools.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve workshop targets.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
1–5 years of experience in car service or automobile workshop.
Preferred Experience
Experience in multi-brand car service centre preferred.
Knowledge of OEM service standards is an added advantage.
