Role Overview

We are seeking a result-driven Procurement Manager responsible for identifying reliable vendors, evaluating market options, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials and services. The ideal candidate should have strong market knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers, products, and price trends.

• Source and procure best-quality materials at the most competitive rates.

• Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier networks.

• Negotiate terms, pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.

• Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.

• Ensure timely procurement and maintain inventory as per business requirements.

• Maintain purchase records, contracts, and cost analyses.

• Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks when required.

• Continuously track and optimise procurement costs.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.

• Strong market awareness and vendor development experience.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.

• Must own a two/four-wheeler for field visits (travel allowance as per policy).

• Good analytical and documentation skills.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain/Business/Commerce background is an advantage).
